The Little Corner Pantry is

For anyone,
supported
by everyone

Who we are

Stocked by neighbors,
for neighbors

The Little Corner Pantry opened in November 2025 in Champaign, IL, a few weeks after SNAP benefits were suspended and our neighborhood needed a little extra help. Neighbors restocked the shelves seven times in the first three days, and it hasn’t slowed down since. That first pantry became the start of something bigger. The Little Corner Pantry Network is now growing across Champaign–Urbana, because our goal was never just to build boxes: every pantry is built with neighbors, hosted by neighbors, and painted by a local artist.

Questions, answered

What is the Little Corner Pantry?

A growing network of free little pantries around the Champaign–Urbana (for now 😉).The pantries are stocked with food and everyday essentials for neighbors to take what they need and give what they can.

Anyone. Students, families, neighbors passing through — these little free pantries are for anyone, supported by everyone.

Always. Every pantry is open 24/7, for whoever needs it, whenever they need it.

Shelf-stable food for making meals, quick microwave meals, snacks kids love, baby care (diapers, wipes, formula), and personal care items. Leave them right in any pantry or if the shelves are full, you can leave them on the front porch at Pantry #1.

A more comprehensive list is in the section below!

100% of monetary donations always go toward 2 things: pantry restocks or for materials to build future pantries. The easiest way to give is Venmo (the Donate button up top takes you right there).

Host or sponsor a future pantry, contribute artwork (every new pantry gets a mural by a paid local artist), run a donation drive, or simply tell your neighbors. You can reach out to us in the form below!

  • Peanut butter & jelly
  • Pasta and sauce
  • Cereal, oatmeal & granola bars
  • Grab-and-go snacks
  • Diapers, wipes & formula
  • Soap, shampoo & toothpaste
  • Feminine care products
  • Bottled water & juice boxes
  • Antiperspirant & deodorant
  • Oils & spices
